Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a visible presence throughout the facility to deter and respond to potential security threats.
- Conduct regular patrols and safety checks of the building and parking areas to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Respond to emergency situations and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to security and safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience in hospital security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
