We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crisis Community Programs Administrator to join our team at the Illinois Department of Human Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration of crisis community programs, ensuring effective implementation of Division of Mental Health (DMH) program, fiscal, and grant management.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the Administrator of Crisis Community Programs, providing direction and guidance to staff to ensure effective implementation of DMH program, fiscal, and grant management.
- Identify federal and state human service funding opportunities and impact of grant funded programs on intellectually disabled communities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with foundations and corporations to leverage and maximize state and federal funding to provide support and enhance delivery of services.
- Develop the reporting and analysis of performance measures specific to grants to various audiences, including the governor's office and the Department's service delivery partners.
- Serve as a full-line supervisor, maintaining awareness of changes to the grant and budget protocols and practices and ensuring their implementation.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in program administration, grant management, and leadership. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
