Crisis Support Specialist Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Crisis Support Specialist to join our team at the DuPage County Health Department. As a Crisis Support Specialist, you will provide critical support to individuals in crisis, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide case management services to clients, including crisis intervention, counseling, and care coordination.
  • Collaborate with community agencies to ensure appropriate levels of service delivery.
  • Contribute to team meetings to ensure effective service delivery for clients.
  • Assist in providing coordination and outreach post-mobile crisis response events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • One year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.
  • Ability to project warmth and sincerity when working with clients.
