Crisis Services Counselor at DuPage County Health Department

We are seeking a qualified Crisis Services Counselor to join our team at DuPage County Health Department. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment providing crisis mental health services to county residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct crisis evaluations in various community settings to assess risk and determine recommendations for client care.
  • Provide emergency and crisis intervention services to individuals and families, both face-to-face and via telephone/video.
  • Link clients with community resources and provide follow-up services as needed.
  • Maintain required training, licensure, and certification.
  • Collaborate with community providers to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
  • Two years of experience working with chronically mentally ill populations.
