Job Overview

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Specialist with over 10 years of extensive experience in managing complex projects and implementing change management strategies that align with organizational objectives.

  • Demonstrated expertise in planning, executing, and monitoring project progress.
  • Oversee daily operations throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic vision.
  • Manage sales order demands effectively.
  • Maintain project logs with updates on new and ongoing projects.
  • Provide regular status updates to project managers.
  • Address any issues related to project execution.
  • Coordinate deliveries and shipping logistics with the warehouse for customer projects.
  • Establish new assembly part numbers in the system, focusing on projects with live Bill of Materials.
  • Create production orders for projects requiring engineering support.
  • Generate purchase requisitions for components, ensuring all critical project details are included.
  • Facilitate the expediting of components necessary for production orders.
  • Organize project inventory and maintain accurate logs of items transferred for engineering configuration.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams for the configuration and verification of project components, keeping production orders updated.
  • Verify costs associated with completed production orders prior to finalization.
  • Process purchase orders for virtual components, such as software, and allocate them to relevant production orders.

Power Turbine Kits Management

  • Conduct regular Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to verify schedules and maintain current completion dates.
  • Convert planned orders into production orders for processing.
  • Engage with the forecasting team to align on planned orders and upcoming demands.

Repair and Overhaul of Power Turbines

  • Coordinate with team members for the receipt and processing of power turbines and accessories.
  • Manage service orders for repairs to be executed.
  • Maintain inventory integrity by receiving and issuing damaged or repaired items.
  • Create purchase requisitions for service activities related to repairs.

General Activities in Material Requirements Planning and Control

Update material master information and item changes as they occur.

Experience and Technical Skills Required:

  • Proficient in SAP systems.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination and material requirements planning.

Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in office software (MS Office), project management tools, and Jira.
  • Proactive and independent work ethic.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the power generation sector.
  • Technical and quality assurance knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter software.
