Job Summary:

Waséyabek Development Company LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities and Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all facilities and operations, including supervising contractor staff, managing facility inspections, and coordinating with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise facilities and operations staff in activities associated with facility inspections, work orders, emergency work orders, service orders, custodial, escorts, general maintenance, preventative maintenance, painters, render safe activities, and life cycle management.
  • Supervise facility coordinators to ensure facility monitoring activities and inspections are accurately reported, mitigated, and assessed.
  • Plan and revise work schedules to ensure an even workflow and assure priority service orders and work are handled expeditiously.
  • Coordinate with the COR and Program Manager regarding facilities and operations priorities, procedures, and accomplishments.
  • Prepare workload reports and maintain accurate records of activities.
  • Resolve conflicts in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee training and mandatory certifications for facilities and operations staff and provide technical guidance when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of facility management experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and an active Maryland CLASS C Driver's License.
  • or Minimum of 10 years of facility management experience and possess an active IFMA Certified Facility Manager (CFM) Certification, and an active Maryland CLASS C Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and an extensive background investigation, including but not limited to personal and professional financial history, nationwide criminal record search, credit check, and other relevant background information deemed necessary by WDC.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and orally, with project managers, clients, and other staff.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to pull and lift a minimum of 50 pounds; work environment consists of a combination of office setting and outdoor building maintenance, repair, and inspections.
