Position Summary

The Senior Supervisor will assist the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in managing retail store operations while acquiring the skills necessary for advancement into management roles. This position will serve as the acting store manager in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant General Manager. Additionally, the Senior Supervisor will collaborate with various departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to recruit, onboard, train, and develop dispensary staff.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to foster professional growth among staff members.
  • Ensure adherence to AWH policies and procedures through coaching and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain operational compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Drive business outcomes by focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop effective profit and loss management skills.
  • Facilitate clear communication by leading daily briefings with staff.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement company initiatives within the store.
  • Encourage process enhancements and support the execution of changes.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional partners.
  • Uphold physical and digital merchandising standards.
  • Establish and monitor exceptional customer service standards across all channels.
  • Promote continuous improvement within the store and among staff.
  • Oversee inventory management and communicate necessary actions to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a retail environment, particularly with point-of-sale operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Strong mathematical skills relevant to retail operations.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Positive demeanor, team-oriented, and a strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of applicable state and local laws and regulations related to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Must successfully pass all required background checks to obtain necessary state credentials.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on tasks.
  • Effective communication skills.
