Job Overview

The Nurse Supervisor position is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a registered nurse to lead our nursing team and ensure the best patient care possible.

Responsibilities:
  • SUPVISE AND DIRECT NURSING STAFF: Supervise and direct the nursing staff during shifts to assure the best patient care possible in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, facility policies and procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • AUTHORIZE CARE: Assist Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department. Authorize care in accordance with facility policies and procedures and local, state, and federal requirements.
  • EVALUATE PATIENT NEEDS: Evaluate patient needs and provide quality-nursing care to patients, following doctor orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • DOCUMENT ACTIONS: Deals with employee problems on a timely basis and documents actions.
Requirements:

To be successful as a Nurse Supervisor at Liberty HomeCare, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE: High school graduate.
  • REGISTERED NURSE: Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing. Current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year.
  • PROVIDE QUALITY NURSING CARE: Provide quality-nursing care to patients, follow doctor orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • ATTEND IN-SERVICE TRAINING: Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Long Term Care experience preferred.

About Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
