We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Liberty HomeCare. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall, adhering to the Nursing Practice Act and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Delegate duties to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel, monitoring work performance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Observe patients for symptoms and/or reactions, including general physical and/or mental condition for signs indicative of adverse change.
  • Notify attending physicians of emergencies and death of patients in the unit, implementing changes in orders as instructed or ordered by physicians.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and proof of license renewal every two years.
  • Willing to work as charge nurses and work as needed during emergencies to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors' orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • CPR certified yearly.
  • Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.

**Benefits:** We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, along with benefits such as background checks/drug-free workplace and EOE policy.
