Medical Office Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team at Winston Medical Staffing. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide reception and clerical services, including billing, collections, referrals, appointments, and general secretarial duties.
- Receive and direct all communication courteously and consistently, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and office policy.
- Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner, making them feel welcome and important.
- Assist patients with the sign-in process, responding promptly to their needs.
- Support financial responsibilities, including staying up-to-date on reimbursement and billing procedures, accurately verifying information, and preparing bank deposits and credit card batches.
- Monitor general office supply inventory and equipment, notifying the Practice Manager when supplies are low and initiating ordering of needed supplies and equipment.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and promoting patient satisfaction through friendly and helpful interactions.
- Maintain efficient and accurate filing and record maintenance systems.
- Adapt work schedules to meet the needs of the practice, working additional hours as requested to maintain adequate coverage.
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, a strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and their caregivers, an exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education, and the ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of care based on a strong sense of patient focus.
- Must be able to travel to various locations.
- Prior receptionist or clerical experience in a medical office.
- Epic experience.
