We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Human Resources Officer to join our leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating processes that support our growth and enhance our employee experience. This pivotal position will lead the HR department, manage employee relations, and leverage technology to streamline processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong operational focus and a commitment to driving organizational performance through effective leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies aligned with the company's objectives, and partner with leadership to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of benefits and the open enrollment processes.
  • Payroll Management: Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, compliance with tax regulations, and oversee necessary reporting and audits.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, including performance management, conflict resolution, and termination processes, while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws, manage audits, and maintain accurate HR records. Prepare and maintain reports, including ACA reporting, EEO-1 reporting, and other compliance-related documentation.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
  • Technology Utilization: Evaluate and implement HR technologies to streamline processes and enhance data analytics capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading HR teams in a fast-paced environment with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Technology Skills: Proficient in ADP and other HRIS systems; knowledge of payroll and benefits administration software is essential.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
