Job Title: Interim Director Radiology

HCT Healthcare seeks an experienced radiology professional to lead our diagnostic imaging services as an interim Radiology Director for a 250+ bed hospital in Northern California.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and clinical leadership of inpatient and/or outpatient diagnostic imaging services, including radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound, computed tomography, nuclear medicine, and/or magnetic resonance imaging services.
  • Establish and implement goals, standards, and practices that guide and support patient care initiatives, ensuring high-value quality care and exceptional care experiences.
  • Develop and foster partnerships with physicians, medical staff, and hospital leaders to facilitate and collaborate on initiatives, resolve operational challenges, and improve processes.
  • Communicate affiliate, operating unit, and system goals to staff, highlighting the impact on patients, operations, and resources.
  • Develop and approve plans of action to address current and future resource needs, meeting service and operational demands and objectives.
  • Assist in meeting financial targets by effectively managing and utilizing personnel and resources.
  • Monitor staff productivity, ensuring optimal use of resources and making appropriate changes in response to fluctuations in workload.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required, with a graduate degree from an accredited radiology school or accredited Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, MRI, and/or Radiation Oncology program.
  • Twelve (12) years of combined experience in diagnostic imaging and managing diagnostic imaging services, with knowledge of and experience with diagnostic imaging operations in acute and non-acute settings.
  • AART, CNMT, ARDMS, CRT, ARMRIT certifications preferred.
  • Electronic Medical Record (EPIC), Radiology Information System (RIS), and Microsoft Office suite experience preferred.
