Job Summary
Assists nursing service personnel with patient care activities and related services necessary for patient comfort and personal needs.
- Provides personal hygiene assistance, takes vital signs, and changes bed linens.
- Serves and collects food trays, manages between-meal nourishment.
- Cleans, sterilizes, stores, and prepares medical supplies.
Key Responsibilities
Completes specimen receipt, registration, and distribution. Processes sendout/reference lab shipping, tracking, and billing. Performs waived testing as requested. Assists with anatomic pathology specimen preparation, staining, and management.
Education
Required: High school diploma or GED
Required Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant. CPR.
