At American Family Care, we are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative - Patient Care to join our team. As a key member of our patient care department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patients and their families.

About the Role:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and has excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a call center environment and be proficient in computer applications. A high school diploma and 1-3 years of related experience in customer service are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer patient inquiries by identifying desired information, researching, locating, and providing information
  • Utilize available resources to identify appropriate solutions to patients' questions, concerns, or problems
  • Manage and resolve patient concerns or problems by identifying issues, researching, and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems
  • Maintain call center database by documenting all important information accordingly
  • Triage all calls and distribute to the appropriate personnel
  • Recognize, document, and alert the supervisor of trends in patient calls
  • Analyze appropriate processes and identify areas for improvement when necessary

Other Responsibilities:

  • Assist in handling overflow customer service calls by providing courteous and accurate resolution of customer questions and concerns

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-3 years related experience in customer service environment

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

The position requires sitting and keyboarding for extended periods, frequent telephone use, high attention to detail, and moderate noise level.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on location and experience.
