Warranty Representative Job Description

Neal Communities is a family-owned company that takes pride in making a positive difference in the lives of our team members. We are seeking a Warranty Representative with a strong focus on customer service to join our Neal Signature Homes team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate and work with the Warranty Coordinator to promptly address homeowner warranty requests.
  • Acquire an understanding of Neal warranty procedures and customer satisfaction philosophy.
  • Identify and manage warranty-related issues for homeowners, utilizing diagnostic skills and verbal and written communication to ensure proper tracking and resolution.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to homeowners using Neal Signature Homes warranty guidelines established in the warranty manual.
  • Supervise items requiring subcontractor/vendor involvement to repair or replace, including scheduling, follow-up, and closure of the repair.
  • Manage and follow up on all scheduled repairs to ensure completion and satisfaction of the customer.
  • Provide after-hours customer support for reported emergencies via the hotline and security response to all Neal Signature Homes facilities.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by management.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with residential construction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional customer service aptitude.
  • Proficiency in computer usage and adaptability to company platforms.
  • Highly organized, driven, with a sense of urgency and keen attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
  • The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20/60/100 pounds regularly.
  • The ability to move safely over uneven terrain.
  • The ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift frequently.
  • Continuous walking, standing, and moving about.
  • Repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs.
  • Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
