Job Summary

The Clinical Staffing Supervisor is a key member of the nursing team, responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Ensure that patients receive appropriate care and services, and participate in the delivery of Carolina Care for all patients, families, and staff.
  • Collaboration: Function as a point of contact, resource, and liaison for essential information for managers, directors, and other senior leaders.
  • Patient Concerns: Identify and follow up on safety concerns of patients, families, and staff members.
  • Occupational Health: Responsible for fit for duty and needlestick protocol on evening, nights, and weekends.
  • House Supervision: Assist the staffing office to ensure adequate clinical staffing on each shift, and respond to emergency response calls.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from a state-accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Licensure/Certification: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of professional nursing experience in a tertiary care setting, and one (1) year of experience in the area assigned.
