We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team at UNC Health. As a Radiology Technologist Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations in the Radiology areas, providing supervision for lead and staff radiologic technologists, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
- Assist in the budget process, including capital equipment, supply inventory, and procedure charges.
- Develop and update department policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain clinical competency and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and procedures.
- Manage direct reports, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with radiologists, department administration, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
- ARRT certification or equivalent, with ongoing continuing education requirements.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Three (3) years of experience in an imaging discipline.
