Radiology Supervisor

Job Summary:
UNC Health is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations in the Radiology areas. As a key member of the team, you will provide supervision for lead and staff radiologic technologists within the radiology clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adopt and assist in the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process within the department and section, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in the budget process, including capital equipment, minor equipment, estimated procedure volumes, and updating department procedure charges.
- Develop and update department and section policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain clinical competency within your discipline, including PACS and RIS super-user status.
- Manage direct reports through regular staff meetings, yearly performance evaluations, and counseling employees in issues related to professional growth and behavior.
- Review patient scheduling, participate in supervisor and staff meetings, and maintain an open dialogue with Radiologists and Department Administration.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
- ARRT certification or equivalent, with a commitment to maintaining registry status and continuing education requirements annually.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Three (3) years of experience in an imaging discipline.
