Position Overview:

The Senior Analyst will report directly to the Vice President of Portfolio Management and will engage regularly with the Chief Portfolio Officer, executive team, investors, and various departments including Financial Planning & Analysis, Leasing, Property Management, and Acquisitions. This role involves a comprehensive analysis of potential leasing agreements, support in quarterly appraisals, and the preparation of board materials. The analyst will also track portfolio performance metrics and manage various aspects of property and portfolio oversight, including budgeting, cash flow forecasting, quarterly evaluations, and internal asset valuations. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a thriving organization while gaining valuable insights from a highly esteemed leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough financial analyses of potential leasing transactions, maintain ARGUS cash flow projections, and collaborate with the lease administration team on lease documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly board presentations, including occupancy statistics, absorption rates, portfolio leasing activities, and analysis of expiring lease rollovers.
  • Prepare regular property-level cash flow forecasts and annual asset strategy assessments, including IRR and NPV analyses for hold periods.
  • Play a significant role in the quarterly appraisal process for the company's assets and support the due diligence efforts for prospective acquisitions and dispositions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in commercial asset management and/or acquisitions of institutional-grade office properties, with expertise in property operations, lease documentation, underwriting, due diligence, financial management, and reporting.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel and ARGUS.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the capability to present information effectively to senior executives.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
