Role Overview: The Vice President of Global Applied Services will play a pivotal role in overseeing our consulting, spare parts, and service offerings aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency and productivity of our clients' systems and processes. This executive position is integral to the leadership team and requires a collaborative approach with various regional and corporate departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to ensure that all customer service, installation, and maintenance activities align with corporate policies and quality benchmarks.
  • Oversee daily operations and implement process enhancements to rectify identified issues.
  • Manage the annual budgeting process and provide monthly updates on financial forecasts related to operational and capital expenditures.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with regional peers to ensure operational alignment and strategic coherence.
  • Establish and uphold departmental standards, procedures, and operational processes that meet or exceed industry expectations.
  • Remain informed about competitive dynamics and emerging technologies that could impact our services.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Develop and mentor the management team, preparing future leaders for increased responsibilities.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with divisional and corporate leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in various systems, theories, and practices relevant to the technology sector.
  • Proven leadership experience managing diverse teams across multiple levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to devise innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Preferred educational background includes a BA/BS in Engineering or Business/Operational Management.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in a complex global organization, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within a Field Services Organization.
  • Exceptional business acumen and financial literacy.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in written formats.
  • Ability to leverage business knowledge to drive operational success.
