Schedule: First Shift - Mon to Fri, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

  • Proven experience operating a flexographic color label press
  • Ability to minimize waste during production
  • Above-average efficiency in production
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Review job specifications and confirm availability of materials, inks, and dies as per requirements.
  • Set up the press, including installation of anilox, inks, substrates, dies, and plates.
  • Adjust impressions and register prints accurately.
  • Load the designated paper type and prepare ink.
  • Calibrate the press for the paper size and manage the feeding process.
  • Conduct all necessary start-up checks and obtain approval to commence production.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the press.
  • Adhere to 6S standards in the work area and adjacent spaces.

Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in label press operation within a manufacturing context.

Physical Requirements: This role is situated in a manufacturing environment, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment. Candidates should be prepared for prolonged standing, frequent bending, and lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, and color vision to differentiate color variations, along with peripheral and depth perception. The work environment typically has a medium to loud noise level. Overtime may be required based on workload and client deadlines.
