Job Summary

At Wasatch Property Management, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our apartment communities, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of apartment communities, including scheduling and completing turns, managing service requests, and overseeing apartment turnovers.
  • Lead a team of maintenance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that they have the necessary resources and tools to succeed.
  • Develop and implement maintenance initiatives to improve the quality and efficiency of our maintenance operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including leasing and marketing, to ensure that our communities are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on general maintenance experience.
  • EPA Certified with 3-5 years related experience a plus.
  • Skill in planning, delegating, and coordinating the work of others.
  • Analytical problem solver, developing alternatives and implementing effective strategies.
  • Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
  • Experience in repairing and or maintaining electrical systems, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, heating and air systems, and pools.
  • Ability to lead staff and build a team atmosphere.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multitask.
  • A creative and motivating personality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
