At ACLD, we are dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach their highest level of independence. We are seeking exceptional Support Workers to join our team in providing top-notch care and support in a residential setting.

We offer a unique opportunity for motivated and compassionate individuals to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting residents in achieving their personal goals, providing structure and emotional support, and helping them develop essential life skills.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents in their daily living activities, including personal hygiene and nutrition
  • Assist with behavioral issues and provide guidance on coping strategies
  • Transport program participants to medical appointments and recreational activities using Agency vehicles
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of resident progress

  • A competitive salary range of $17.00 - 18.00 per hour

Requirements:

  • Clean and valid NYS Driver's license
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Some experience working with intellectually and developmentally disabled populations preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain AMAP and SCIP certifications
