Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Specialist to join our team at the Microsurgical Spine Center. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for performing fluoroscopic procedures, utilizing modern radiologic equipment and techniques to provide high-quality imaging services to patients of all age groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform fluoroscopic procedures for the treatment of patients, adhering to professional radiology practice standards.
  • Position patients for radiographic examinations, ensuring accurate and safe imaging.
  • Operate radiologic machines, taking x-ray images of various body parts for diagnostic purposes.
  • Develop, process, and maintain x-ray films, ensuring high-quality images for medical professionals.
  • Assist in fluoroscopic work, making clinical photographs and identifying images as needed.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Maintain equipment and quarters, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology.
  • Successful completion of a training program in radiologic technology.
  • Knowledge of modern radiologic equipment and techniques, regional and gross anatomy, and standardized radiologic clinical procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, administer emergency aid, and prepare solutions for processing x-ray film.
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team, multitask, and maintain attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of WebMD and Intergy systems for review and data entry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a sterile environment.
