About the Role

CIBC US is seeking a highly skilled Loan Syndications Sales Director to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial and Industrial Lending group, you will be responsible for originating new syndicated transactions and cultivating relationships with co-lenders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including co-lenders and clients.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Underwriters to ensure consistent syndications coverage and enhance the syndication platform.
  • Production: Meet revenue generation and fee generation targets, while cultivating new co-lenders and expanding existing relationships.
  • Market Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and industry developments, and effectively communicate this knowledge to others within CIBC US.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years of direct C&I and/or CRE finance/credit experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to meet deadlines and establish priorities.
