Clinical Documentation Specialist

Beebe Healthcare is seeking a skilled Clinical Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Documentation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation in our ambulatory medical records.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough reviews of medical records to ensure compliance with Medicare Advantage, MSSP, and Commercial risk adjustment documentation requirements.
- Deliver education to providers on the importance of diagnosis specificity and provide feedback on noncompliance issues.
- Perform code abstraction and coding quality audits to ensure accurate assignment of ICD-10-CM codes and adherence to CMS Risk Adjustment guidelines.
- Interact with physicians regarding coding, billing, and documentation policies and procedures.
- Prepare and perform auditing analysis and provide feedback on noncompliance issues detected through auditing.
- Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) and Certified Coding Specialist (CCS-P) certifications.
- Minimum of two years' experience in medical coding.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
