Firefighter (Paramedic)

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as Firefighters (Paramedics) in the U.S. Marine Corps. As a Firefighter (Paramedic), you will be responsible for responding to emergency situations, providing medical care, and conducting firefighting operations.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency alarms involving fires, medical emergencies, and hazardous materials
- Provide advanced patient assessment and treatment for victims of fire, sudden illness, accidental injuries, childbirth, and other events requiring medical intervention
- Operate firefighting equipment, including hydrants, hose lines, ladders, and nozzles
- Perform assigned firefighting tasks at various locations, including warehouses, ordinance storage facilities, and barracks
- Transport emergency personnel and patients safely to the emergency room
To be eligible for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Performing firefighter duties, including controlling and extinguishing fires, fire rescues, and reducing or eliminating potential fire hazards
- Providing emergency medical response and treatment, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), basic, intermediate, and advanced life support (ALS), airway management, emergency childbirth, and mass casualty triage

Working ConditionsThis position requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with exposure to hazardous materials, extreme temperatures, and physical demands.
Selected candidates will be required to undergo a background investigation and obtain a security clearance.
