Associate Director Opportunity at Texas Woman's University

Texas Woman's University is seeking a dynamic Associate Director to join its highly respected School of Physical Therapy in Houston. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the academic and research agenda of the School.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise and assist the Director in planning and implementing the School's goals and initiatives
  • Recommend new faculty and staff appointments to support the School's growth and development
  • Contribute to the School's academic and research programs through teaching, research, and service activities
  • Supervise staff and faculty to ensure the smooth operation of the School
  • Develop and implement campus-specific goals and objectives
  • Assign administrative tasks to faculty and staff as needed
  • Conduct faculty and staff performance reviews and provide feedback to the Director
  • Maintain budgetary oversight and approval authority for all campus-related budgets
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated academic leadership and collaboration skills
  • An earned research doctorate and the ability to be tenured at the Associate or Full Professor rank
  • Eligibility for Texas licensure in Physical Therapy
  • Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
