Responsibilities:
  • Teach graduate-level clinical courses that prepare students for licensure as a licensed specialist in school psychology
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with NASP and APA standards
  • Supervise student and/or graduate assistants
  • Conduct research and publish scholarly work in the field of school psychology
  • Participate in departmental and university service activities
Qualifications:
  • Doctorate in school psychology
  • Evidence of scholarship (i.e., refereed journal publications, professional conference presentations)
  • Eligible for licensure as a school psychologist in Texas (i.e., LSSP) and, if not licensed, commitment to prepare and apply upon receipt of contract
  • Teaching experience
  • Knowledge of NASP and APA standards
  • Commitment to goals to engage in required productivity and professional involvement associated with promotion and tenure
