Position Details:
We are looking for a driven Personal Lines Insurance Placement Consultant to become a vital part of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess at least 5 years of experience in the insurance field and have a thorough understanding of Personal Lines Insurance. This role will focus on supporting the sales process, enhancing business retention, and fostering growth through effective marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively pursue new and renewal business opportunities
- Develop strong relationships with Sales Producers and the marketing department
- Serve as a reliable resource for carrier information and guidelines
- Participate in and lead renewal meetings with Sales Producers and Account Managers
- Identify accounts requiring marketing efforts
- Review applications and gather necessary information from Sales Producers or Account Managers
- Collaborate with Sales Producers to ensure clients receive appropriate insurance coverage
- Prepare comprehensive submissions for markets, including loss runs and financial statements
- Keep Sales Producers updated on market submissions
- Maintain a detailed marketing spreadsheet
- Create cover letters outlining risks and coverage details
- Work closely with Underwriters to confirm submission receipt and additional information needs
- Compare received quotes and review them with Sales Producers
- Prepare proposals and assist in sales presentations
- Provide Account Managers with accurate proposals and necessary documentation
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales or Sales Support within Personal Lines Insurance
- In-depth knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance
- Active Property & Casualty License, CPCU, CISR, and/or CIC designations preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of high net worth clients
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Awareness of industry trends and regulations
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with colleagues, carriers, and vendors
