Job Title: Commissioning Engineer

Havtech is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in the commissioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection/detection (MEP/FP/BE) systems in large commercial/institutional projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and understand MEP/FP/BE plans and specifications.
  • Monitor progress of construction projects.
  • Conduct hands-on inspections and evaluations of installed equipment.
  • Identify and report on deficiencies found during site visits.
  • Track and document construction progress.
  • Assist in resolving on-site issues.
  • Develop commissioning-related documentation (checklists, test plans, reports, etc.).
  • Execute commissioning-related tests on installed systems.
Requirements:
  • Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred but not required.
  • Applicants with non-engineering backgrounds with relevant construction/field experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of the A/E and construction industries is preferred.
  • Experience in engineering, commissioning, or construction inspection is ideal.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to maintain detailed written records of day-to-day activities.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently.
Working Conditions:

The Commissioning Engineer will work on active construction sites and may be required to spend time outdoors in various weather conditions.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will have excellent problem-solving skills.
