Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for executing process, equipment, and facility changes in a cGMP environment. You will provide technical support to engineering design, construction management, and CQV/start-up teams, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop project life-cycle documentation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute process, equipment, and facility changes in a cGMP environment.
- Provide technical support to engineering design, construction management, and CQV/start-up teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the turnover, startup, and commissioning phases.
- Develop project life-cycle documentation requirements.
- Coordinate the selection and oversight of third-party engineering and design services.
- Author project specifications and technical studies.
- Serve as a technical expert and advise on corrections during the investigation process.
- Directly develop or oversee the development of engineering testing, commissioning, and process improvement projects.
- Lead FMEA and system or process specific safety evaluations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of process engineering experience plus 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Ability to create design documentation and coordinate with other design disciplines.
- Hands-on experience with process equipment and integrated systems.
- Some experience with FAT, SAT, IOQ, and PVs.
- Sr. Level knowledge of unit operations such as upstream, downstream bioprocessing and/or formulation, filling, and packaging.
- Proven track record of being self-motivated and capable of working in diverse team situations.
- Experience designing and implementing clean utilities systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to Detail.
- Hands-on experience with process automation in a highly automated environment.
- CAD experience preferred.
