About the TeamThis role is ideal for a driven individual eager to engage in the development and enhancement of Mainframe applications. This position is crucial in supporting the business to ensure that Defined Contribution initiatives are executed with exceptional quality. The successful candidate will possess strong communication abilities and experience collaborating with a geographically diverse team.
Required Expertise and Skills- A bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or a related Technology field is essential.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant technology experience is required.
- Proficiency in Mainframe technologies (JCL, COBOL, VSAM, DB2, CICS) is mandatory.
- Experience in the development and deployment of Batch and CICS applications is necessary.
- Familiarity with mainframe tools such as ENDEVOR, FILE-AID, ABEND-AID, and CONTROL-M is advantageous.
- A willingness to embrace new challenges and explore emerging technologies/tools is expected.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with Project Managers and External Clients are crucial.
- Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred.
- Analytical skills to assess new projects or existing system functionalities are required.
- Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Experience with MS Excel is a plus.
