Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients and staff to provide proactive tax planning and guidance.
  • Review and prepare tax returns, including business, fiduciary, and personal income tax returns.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and consultation.
  • Oversee income tax correspondence and provide technical guidance on complex tax issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to clients.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in tax department of a CPA firm.
  • CPA designation and/or EA required; MST is also a plus.
  • Strong background in reviewing individual and business returns.
  • Experience in tax research and prior involvement in training and mentoring staff.
