Position Overview:
Serve as a pivotal business ally to facilitate regional Support Function transformation, which is a primary responsibility.

Develop and advocate for the IS project portfolio within a business-related domain for which you are accountable for execution or regional deployment.


Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management
The primary focus of relationship management encompasses: Human Resources, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and Communication.

Lead all IS resources engaged in project deliveries by offering guidance and supervisory support to ensure alignment with commitments.

Act as a mentor or coach for other regional portfolio managers or project leaders.
Participate in the staffing of project leaders.
Functionally manage and mentor the project leaders assigned to the projects for which you are responsible.
Establish robust partnerships with internal stakeholders within the relevant domain in the region.

Collaboration with Global Portfolio Manager:
Contribute to the global portfolio definition and execution by providing regional status updates and insights.
Disseminate global portfolio information that impacts or interests stakeholders in the region.

Portfolio Definition

Assist in defining a global portfolio roadmap alongside key regional stakeholders: outlining content and ambitions, macro timelines, rough estimates, or budgets.

Accountable for providing project budget inputs to IS Leadership and Executive Sponsors for regional projects and deployments.
Help translate and organize the regional aspects of the defined roadmap into project plans (timeline, budget, resources).
Support the communication of the vision and portfolio to IS and stakeholders in the region.

Portfolio Execution
Accountable for the execution of the portfolio from opportunity identification to project completion and deployments affecting the region.

Responsible for the scoping phase to define budget and planning estimates as well as quality targets for projects and deployments impacting the region.

Ensure that project delivery adheres to commitments regarding scope, deliverables, costs, and timelines.
Provide inputs for Capacity Planning and secure staffing with IS Domain Managers and business stakeholders as appropriate.
Engage in vendor management (RFP/vendor selection) and monitor vendor performance.
Oversee fixed-price resources involved in the project.
Ensure that user adoption in projects is defined and measured.

Qualifications, Skills, & Experience:
Bachelor's degree required with over 5 years of experience in program or project management within IT or any Support Function.

A high school diploma/GED with over 9 years of experience in program or project management in IT or any Support Function is also acceptable.

Experience supporting Support Functions and Commercial Operations is highly preferred, including but not limited to Sales, HR, and Finance.
Experience in a regulated environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience working in a global organization is preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills along with leadership capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal skills, active listening, organizational awareness, and relationship-building abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to present projects, challenges, and opportunities to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Capability to lead internal cross-cultural and transversal groups in a global environment.
