Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Greenfield Public Schools. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting students with severe disabilities in our special education programs.
Responsibilities:
* Work collaboratively with special education teachers and other professionals to develop and implement behavior support plans for students with severe disabilities.
* Provide positive behavior supports and interventions to students in the classroom and other settings.
* Collect and record behavior data on assigned students to inform instruction and support.
* Collaborate with BCBA supervisors to develop and implement functional behavioral assessments and behavior intervention plans.
* Model and train instructional assistants in assigned students' behavior programs as needed.
* Complete student progress reports as requested by supervisors.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., special education, psychology, or a related field).
* Experience working with students with severe disabilities and their families.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
