Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Registered Behavior Technician. As a key member of our special education team, you will play a vital role in providing positive behavior supports and implementing behavior programming to students with severe disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the direction of the special education teacher and principal to provide positive behavior supports and implement behavior programming.
  • Collect and record behavior data on assigned students, providing valuable insights to inform behavior intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with the Pupil Services Director and BCBA to develop and implement functional behavioral assessments and behavior intervention plans.
  • Model and train instructional assistants in assigned students' behavior programs, ensuring a cohesive and effective support system.
  • Complete student progress reports as requested by the supervisor, providing a comprehensive overview of student progress.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A strong understanding of behavior analysis and positive behavior supports is essential, as is the ability to collect and analyze data to inform behavior intervention plans.
