Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at GE Aviation. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development
    • Lead component, module, and system level design activities to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 6 years of mechanical design or systems integration experience.
    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Aerospace or equivalent industry.
    • Minimum of 6 years of commercial or military externals design experience.
  • Desired Characteristics
    • Master's degree from an accredited university or college.
    • Exposure to aviation engine design or certification requirements.
    • 10 years of experience in design/development of turbomachinery.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
    • Ability to communicate and coordinate clearly with internal and external partners.
    • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
    • Established project management skills.
    • Prior experience working with global cross-functional teams.
    • Able to work both in a global team and individually.
    • 10 years of experience in an Engineering position, especially with global and cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to guide and influence others.
    • Demonstrated process orientation in approach to work.
