Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for the primary care of assigned Supportive Care patients and families.
  • Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care to maximize the comfort and health of the Supportive Care patient and family.
  • Identify patient/family needs and provide supportive care in accordance with the attending Physician's orders, Plan of Care, and Supportive Care policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an NLN accredited school of Nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of MA and RI is required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or currently enrolled in a program leading to a B.S.N. is preferred.
  • Two years recent hospital, medical/surgical, or other relevant nursing experience preferred.
  • Hospice & Palliative Care Certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of I.V. pump and central line maintenance preferred.
  • Evidence of current CPR certification.
  • Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Requires proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database, and electronic records programs.
