About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our Home Care team at Southcoast Health System. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care activities in accordance with Southcoast VNA policies and procedures.
  • Communicate pertinent patient information and unusual findings to appropriate Clinical personnel.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional and caring customer service to patients and families.
Requirements
  • Equal to completion of four years of high school plus specialized courses and training.
  • CNA certification required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Medical Assistant, EMT or Paramedics certifications are preferred.
  • Three (3) months of related work experience is required.
  • Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
