About the JobWe are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Suburban Automotive Services. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for sourcing and hiring top talent for our organization. Key Responsibilities- Manage a requisition load of 10-25 openings.
- Phone screen applications and resumes by analyzing candidate work history, competency levels, and other qualifications.
- Create, post, maintain, and update job postings.
- Track, log, and update recruiting activity on spreadsheets.
- Provide candidates and employees information about policies, job duties, and working conditions.
- Fill high volume openings, as well as technical, niche roles.
- Ensure new hires have a positive onboarding experience from offer to orientation.
- Complete the candidate background check process.
- Ensure I-9 compliance by verifying appropriate documentation for all new hires.
- Prepare offers and assist in compensation negotiations.
- Identify creative sourcing techniques to target the right candidates.
- Build and foster positive working relationships with candidates, colleagues, and hiring managers.
- Administer/support HR department projects and programs as directed.
- Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to all HR-related matters and information.
- Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations and HR laws.
- Attend HR meetings.
- Attend and participate in weekly team meetings and one-on-ones with the HR Director.
- Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service's DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.
- Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Must be a reliable team player.
- 1-year customer service experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- High school diploma/GED required.
