Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Huntington Ingalls Industries. As a Help Desk Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for resolving technical problems and answering queries by telephone or self-service ticket in support of computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Resolve technical problems and answer queries by telephone or self-service ticket
* Diagnose, identify, isolate, and analyze problems utilizing historical database records
* Escalate issues to product line specialists, application or system support specialists
* Maintain and update records and tracking databases

Requirements

* AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 1 year related experience
* HS + 3 years related experience may be substituted for AA degree
* CompTIA Security+ or higher required
* Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
