Job Summary:
The Senior Venue Operations Manager is tasked with effectively overseeing the operations of their designated venue.
This role encompasses the responsibility of sustaining profitability while achieving sales and operational objectives, all while delivering top-tier customer service to all stakeholders, including hotel partners, clients, and team members.
Moreover, the Senior Venue Operations Manager will foster a culture of success, advocate for diversity, pursue ongoing improvement, and demonstrate a steadfast commitment to nurturing and enhancing venue relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership throughout all event phases, ensuring an unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service for both internal and external stakeholders.
Guide the Operations team to guarantee smooth floor operations, including the timely and precise setup and breakdown of equipment and other essential activities.
Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, and training team members, planning and delegating tasks, coaching, mentoring, directing work, evaluating performance, and managing rewards and disciplinary actions.
Address and resolve complaints and issuesReview financial statements to ensure profitability; manage expenses by leveraging available resources and implementing cost control measures as needed.
Maintain inventory accuracy, ensuring quality, functionality, organization, security, and availability.
Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and innovations.
Develop and sustain strong partnerships with venue collaborators.
Represent Pinnacle Live as a valued partner during hotel meetings and client site visits.
Ensure prompt payment of all financial obligations.
Oversee timely processing of billing and invoices; enforce compliance with all financial management standard operating procedures.
Provide the Sales Manager with the necessary tools and support to maximize revenue and enhance capture rates throughout all phases of the sales cycle.
Train, manage, and develop the team in accordance with company standard operating procedures, fostering elevated customer service standards, employee development, and a culture of achievement.
Effectively utilize relevant company computer systems while continuously striving to update and enhance systems and technical skills.
Provide technical support for events as required.
Delegate tasks efficiently as necessary.
Adhere to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
High School Graduate or equivalent
Five (5) years of management-level experience in the audiovisual and/or hospitality sector preferred.
Proven experience in aligning team members towards common objectives.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to cultivate long-term relationships (with internal teams and external partners).
