Job Summary

Nuvance Health is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Records Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of patient medical records, ensuring timely and accurate processing of physician orders, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records, including tracking and timeliness of physician orders
  • Process and manage physician orders, ensuring compliance with state regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
  • Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in medical records or billing
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical software
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
