Job Description

Delivers high-quality ambulatory care services to patients, ensuring delivery of services consistent with community standards. Participates in quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements individualized health care plans, making recommendations for health services and programs.
  • Provides preventative screening procedures, identifies medical and health risks, and formulates differential diagnoses.
  • Orders and performs diagnostic tests, monitors patient conditions, and prescribes appropriate therapies.
  • Collaborates with physicians, develops client education plans, and makes referrals to other health professionals and community agencies.
  • Participates in quality improvement studies, contributes to continuing medical education, and reviews patient satisfaction surveys.

Requirements:

  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri.
  • Master's degree in nursing with certification through AANP, ANCC, NAACOG, or NAPNAP.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing services to medically underserved persons.
  • Effective communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift 25 pounds without assistance.
