Customer Service Specialist

Position Overview:

As a vital member of our team, you will oversee the leasing process, ensuring a seamless transition from initial contact to resident occupancy. Your role will involve maintaining open lines of communication throughout the resident's stay, fostering a welcoming environment for both prospective and current residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build and nurture exceptional customer service relationships with potential and existing residents.
  2. Maintain the leasing office and community appearance to the highest standards, ensuring all areas are clean and inviting.
  3. Effectively promote the community's features and amenities, demonstrating thorough knowledge of the property and its competitors.
  4. Convert inquiries into property tours and leases, ensuring all prospective resident information is accurately recorded and followed up on.
  5. Prepare and manage all lease-related documentation, including applications and move-in information.
  6. Analyze weekly performance reports to identify opportunities for improvement in leasing strategies.
  7. Address and resolve resident concerns, including maintenance requests, to ensure satisfaction.
  8. Engage in marketing initiatives to boost property visibility and attract potential residents.
  9. Organize and participate in community events to enhance resident engagement.
  10. Conduct market surveys to stay informed about competitor offerings.
  11. Assist with general administrative tasks, including managing phone communications and ordering supplies.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to treat every resident and guest with respect and enthusiasm.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient technical skills and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to establish credibility with management and team members.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Experience and Education:

A minimum of one year of experience in sales or leasing within residential property management is preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
