Practice Overview:


In this role, you will play a pivotal part in assembling a team of Ambulatory Generalists, collaborating closely with OBGYN hospitalists, Gynecologic Surgeons, FPMRS, and MFM specialists to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care while supporting the educational objectives of the residency program.

The primary focus of this teaching-oriented clinical practice encompasses a wide range of ambulatory OBGYN services and gynecologic surgical procedures. Inpatient OBGYN Hospitalist experience can also be available, should you desire it.
Core faculty responsibilities include engaging in the recruitment, selection, instruction, supervision, evaluation, and advancement of residents.

All Core faculty members are expected to exemplify professionalism, show dedication to delivering safe, high-quality, cost-effective, patient-centered care, and possess a strong interest in resident education.


Qualifications:
a. Graduation from an accredited allopathic (MD) or osteopathic (DO) medical school
b. Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Prior experience as residency program faculty is highly desirable. Certification / Registration:
a.

Current certification or active candidacy for certification in the specialty by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Ability to secure the necessary medical staff appointment.
