Job Title: Laborer II

We are seeking a skilled Laborer II to join our team at ADB Wireless. As a Laborer II, you will play a crucial role in the installation of fiber optic cables for various telecommunication projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the wireline team in the installation of fiber optic cables
  • Perform various tasks such as hand digging, setting up traffic control, operating entry-level equipment, placing fiber, loading materials, and more on safety-sensitive utility construction sites
  • Demonstrate proficiency in utility print and map reading, ensuring accurate and efficient project execution
  • Utilize experience in operating various equipment (such as directional drills, mini, plow, hydro, etc.) to contribute to project success while adhering to safety regulations
  • Support the setup and shut down of utility construction projects, including traffic control, in diverse conditions
  • Immerse yourself in a learning environment, training alongside experienced construction crews to gain expertise in fiber installation, print reading, equipment operations, OSHA requirements, and more
  • Be an integral part of the team by loading and unloading materials and equipment from vehicles at construction yards and jobsites
  • Embrace leadership responsibilities as the right hand to the Foreman, leading by example, ensuring adherence to safety rules and regulations, and providing guidance to others on the jobsite
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of utility construction experience
  • At least 6 months of heavy equipment operations, including Hydro, Drill, Mini, and Plow
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • CDL License (or the ability to obtain one)
