Fuel Pricing Strategist

7-Eleven is seeking a Fuel Pricing Strategist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:


• Enhance the profitability of fuel transactions amidst fluctuating pricing and market dynamics.


• Formulate and implement pricing strategies aligned with performance objectives.


• Collaborate with various departments to provide insights into market performance and forecasts.


• Perform tactical analyses utilizing extensive data sets to comprehend performance trends, mitigate risks, identify challenges, and seize opportunities. Stay updated on market conditions.


• Monitor strategic initiatives to assess success metrics weekly; evaluate KPIs and document achievements.


• Serve as a subject matter expert on fuel; deliver fuel forecasts for mergers and acquisitions as well as real estate considerations.


• Troubleshoot integration challenges, working with fuel technicians and store personnel to identify system integration issues and solutions with minimal supervision. Proactively seek out issues.


• Ensure the integrity of data within the fuel pricing systems.

Qualifications:


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), with knowledge of SQL, Tableau, and Microsoft PowerBI being advantageous.


• Familiarity with the petroleum sector; understanding of the convenience store industry.


• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, coupled with effective verbal and written communication abilities.


• A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.


• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Marketing, Statistics, or related fields is preferred.
