Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Patient Care
- Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
- Collect and record patient medical history and vital signs
- Administer medications and immunizations as directed by healthcare providers
- Support Clinical Operations
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment for patient visits
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team
- Work closely with healthcare providers, nurses, and other support staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Certifications and Training
- Current BLS/CPR training required
- Additional certifications or training may be required based on department or role
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
